The mission of Ascend Virtual Academy is to provide students in grades 6–12 with a flexible, affordable, and supportive virtual learning experience that mirrors the best of traditional schooling. We empower scholars through personalized instruction, multiple graduation pathways, and real-world learning opportunities for lifelong success.

The curriculum at Ascend Virtual Academy is fully virtual and designed to serve students in grades 6–12 with flexibility, rigor, and relevance. All coursework is aligned with and approved by the Georgia Department of Education to ensure academic excellence and compliance with state standards.

Middle school scholars engage in a comprehensive curriculum comparable to traditional schools, with the added flexibility to tailor courses based on individual academic readiness and learning needs. This personalized approach allows each student to progress at a pace that fosters mastery and confidence.

High school students have access to a diverse range of courses—from Advanced Placement (AP) and honors to career and technical education pathways—allowing them to earn the 22 credits required for graduation. Each course is intentionally designed to connect with scholars’ post-secondary aspirations, whether they plan to pursue college, technical training, or enter the workforce.

Ascend Virtual Academy was founded by an educator who understands the power of transformative teaching and the importance of meeting every scholar where they are.
